INSIGHT
First impression:
A Weasley, obviously, by the hair and freckles.
Behavior/Personality: Ginny grew up with six brothers, which allowed her to become a rough-and-tumble sort of girl. She is by no means a tomboy -- anymore -- but she is far from a weak-minded girl. She is stubborn, strong-willed, and a hard worker. She has a penchant for breaking rules and has a large sense of humor -- both which she thanks Fred and George for. But the happy-go-lucky Ginny has lost some of her nerve, forced into neutrality by the current situation of her world. She has distanced herself from others, becoming something of a loner. And she has been known to fly off the rocket easier nowadays.
Goals/Dreams: To find true happiness.
Quirks/Habits: Has a habit of dazing off into dreamland, usually thinking about her past and when things were happier -- before all the death and destruction of the war. Chews on her quills, so she generally uses Honeyduke's sugar quills. Still excellent at the Bat Bogey Hex. She doesn't exactly blush when embarrassed, but her ears turn red.
Likes: Quidditch, cats (she could always tempt Crookshanks out to play with her), romance novels, Wizard's Chess, butterbeer, the Weird Sisters, the Chudly Cannons.
Dislikes: Journals/diaries (she’s very reluctant about writing in this), arrogance, immaturity, being protected or treated like a child, blood purists, bossiness.
Usually found: The quidditch pitch, Grimmauld Place

APPEARANCE
Ginny stands at 5’9 1/2”, with a slim, athletic build. She has fair skin that is generously speckled with freckles, and hazel eyes. Her hair is a darker shade of red and thick, falling to her shoulders and usually worn down these days. When outside of work, she usually dresses in muggle attire -- mainly in very airy or "hippy" styled clothes that usually consist of feathery, flowing skirts and peasant tops.

PERSONALITY
Growing up in the Weasley family, she learned to share and be caring at a young age. She's very family-oriented and puts her family and those she considers family -- i.e. Harry, Hermione and her other close friends -- before herself. She's a very strong-willed individual, which she inherited from her mother. She's humble and very accepting, and has learned to appreciate the little things in life.

Growing up with Fred and George, you learn that anything is possible if you've got enough nerve. A quote directly from her mouth that sums her up pretty well as well. Having grown up with the prankster twins as brothers, she's gained a very nice sense of humor and trouble. She doesn't seek trouble, but when it comes around, she's willing to face it. She's very stubborn and not afraid to back down when it comes to a confrontation.

Ginny shares the infamous stubbornness and quick temper that seems to be present in all the Weasleys, but in her case it is tempered by reasonableness and thoughtfulness. She has a good head on her shoulders and isn’t one to jump to conclusions or get angry for no reason…or if she does she is quick to realise that it isn’t the best course of action. I mean, everyone has those moments where something just upsets them enough that they react without thinking.

HISTORY
We all know Ginny's life story, do we not? For the most part, Ginny has lived the life you know. However, things went horribly wrong in her reality at the end of her sixth year -- during that epic battle that took place in the Great Hall of Hogwarts. Harry overlooked one thing in his final fight. Dumbledore was wrong. Dumbledore had said there was only seven Horcruxes, but Voldemort had created an eighth unknown Horcrux. So when Harry and Voldemort fought, despite Harry having destroyed every other Horcrux, Harry lost. Harry was killed before the eyes of all those within the Great Hall -- and all hope was lost. Voldemort spared the lives of those who remained, making an example only of those who refused to surrender. After that, he became the new Minister of Magic -- and things changed. All children of magical blood -- excluding, of course, muggleborns -- were forced to return to Hogwarts and finish their schooling. If their parents or they refused, they were executed. Many people went into hiding, but Ginny's family did not. For Ginny's safety, she was re enrolled into Hogwarts for her seventh and final year. Ginny found herself losing friends while at Hogwarts. Some of their family were resisting, fighting -- which resulted in them going into hiding, with their children, or their deaths. Arthur Weasley had gone "missing," but was secretly working underground with the Order. For their safety, Molly and Ginny were told to go about their lives -- to not step out of line, and simply act as though they accepted the way things were. But Ginny didn't want that. Ginny wanted to be out of Hogwarts, wanted to be out fighting. And she was going to get her wish. One day, after sending an owl stating just that to her mother, Ginny found herself distracted by an out-of-place looking torch holder in the owlery. It shimmered, glistened. The light coming from it almost seemed to speak to her, as if offering an escape. She touched it, and everything went black. When she woke up, strewn on the owlery floor, she instantly knew something was wrong. There were no owls, no hay. When she looked out on the grounds, the quidditch pitch was gone. The castle was fully in tact and not in its shattered state from the final battle, and things were missing. After investigating, she found she was alone in this castle. In a world she wasn't sure of what was going on.
